Door switch issue

Hi Jeeper's.
I wonder if anybody as access to a wiring diagram for the door switch to courtesy it/door chime ?
I am having issues with mine I my 98 TJ.
I went to connect the sandbar lites so they act as dome lites,and when I took the socket off dash for easier access to the red/blk wire, now lite & chime only work if I connect a ground to the socket blk. Then the switch doesn't shut off lite but the chime does go off.
Any ideas ???

What do you mean by this? In my 2005 the soundbar lights are already dome lights. Were you rewiring them?

I know this isn't the wiring diagram, but it may help.
