P paradineai New member Feb 5, 2017 #3 If on a 1999 - 2004 the tail light has an issue with the circuit board (alot), but if both are out then it is most likely a bad wire or the "light out sensor module" has gone out. Sent from my SM-J320V using Jeepz.com mobile app

J Jeepergeo Member Feb 10, 2017 #4 Try running a supplemental, known ground. Also, carefully probe the light socket for power. Carefully, and don't shot it by accident. And check the obvious...are the bulbs good? That tail could have been out awhile and you might not have noticed it.
