ok guys I don't have my manuals at my new house yet, so I need a little help. My jeep won't start, nothing...I have plenty of power. I did the self diagnosis and it gives me a code 12 and after looking online for a while I found out what a code 12 is Battery input to PCM disconnected during last 50 key starts. So can someone look in there manual and tell me what the troubleshooting for fixing this is??? please I wana drive her and it looks like it might rain tonight

What year and model? I won't be able to hel with the codes, but I'm pretty sure that info will be needed for those that can.

12 is normal, just means the 'puter sensed that the battery had been recently disconnected. You should have gotten other codes or at least a 55 which is the standard end code.

but I haven't disconected the battery recently that is what is confusing...is there a code for the starter??? and yes it was 12 then 55

No trouble codes if you got a 12 and then 55.

I doubt any starter problem would throw a diagnostic code.

well I went and got a starter today, but I don't have a dang socket wrench at my new house, yeah I know that should of been one of the first things, but I completely forgot, no I just need to go to my other house and get it...hopefully that is all I need
