Finally a CJ! - What models will the half doors fit?

Any Advice?

Well, I finally made it to the dark side. Out with the TJ, in with a CJ. I looked around locally and didn't find much... so when this popped up, I jumped on it. I think I paid too much, but with a 5.9L I couldn't turn it down. It came with an extra set of rears and a 4sp, a hard top, and a plow (which I'll sell to recoop some $$$) and a whole lot of spare goodies and softtop stuff.

Anyhow, about the doors... It's an '84 and came with steel half doors. Since, I'll never use them, I'm going to get rid of them. What other models will they fit? I know they'll fit YJ's, but I'm under the impression that they won't fit ALL CJ's because the striker is different on earlier years. Anyone know the year break or what the difference is?

They will fit any cj7, cj8, or yj, the strikers will need to be changed for the "non-paddle handle" type doors, (the name escapes me) all the strikers in these years are interchangable.

Those half doors will fit 82-95 with no problems (cj7 and YJ) and will fit 76-81 CJ7's if you add a later style striker pin to the tub.
