Finally set up to play in the mud

After 2 months of talking I decided to set up my 06 Rubicon to go offroad. I went with a 4 inch Skyjacker lift---Am. Eagle 589 16x10 wheels---B F Goodrich 305/70/16 mud terrain tires. I will be in the mud, no rocks around, so I felt the aluminum wheels would be better due to being lighter than steel. I guess it's too late to worry but has anyone ever broken one of these wheels in mud?

I agree!

Honestly - I don't hink you have anything to worry about even in the rocks. I have Aluminum wheels on my Jeep and it has been around the block a few times. I do have some rock rash, but it's a Jeep... It is supposed to.

I wish I made these swaps some time ago. What an upgrade. I still forget I'm up about 5 inches higher than I was before so ever so often I fall out the door when I get out.
