well i finaly found ware everyone goes to play. above estacata off hiway 211 you'll find this road called Hillockburn, around 4 miles outside of estacata. once your on this road just keep goin you will find places to wheel. you dont have to look very hard, although you will have to go a good distance to get to the trails(id say less than 10mi.) as with any wheelin' trip you will need at least a full tank of fuel. anyway here are some pics of the first time ive ever been up there. keep in mind i took them from my phone, though i must say that are pretty good for a phone.

wish i knew how to resize

anyway, i didnt tackle the trails that looked a little difficult being the first time i was up there. not to mention i went alone (wich i dont normaly do, but i was board.) i will go up again and again and again, believe that. more pics to come. enjoy.

Thanks for the pics, makes me really miss the northwest. Wish I would have wheeled my jeep instead of my motorcycle when I lived out there. Beautiful country.

its absolutly georgious there in the woods. just one reason why i had to have a jeep. hopefully soon ill have me some new tires and i can actualy sling some of that famous oregon goo on my jeep instead of squishin' it in like a steam roller with my bald street skids. looking at the maxxis bighorns.

We need to get you in the air abit and up to browns camp. Buddy is installing a re 5.5 long arm on his xj and might be selling his 3" lift and 31's if your interested i could ask him.

That looks great. I don't think I recognize that area. Where is it in relation to Ripplebrook? Same set of roads, or is it out of Estacada the other way? Looks great...I'd love to check it out.

you know, i have no idea ware ripplebrook is. just take 211 south from estacata and about 4 miles or so youll find hillockburn rd. this may help http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.ad...kburn+Rd&city=Estacada&state=OR&zipcode=97023
dont pay no attention to the star. it was just a general search i did.

i was woundering if you 2 where gunna post. lets go wheein'

Ripplebrook would be up towards Bagby hotsprings. Heading up the mountain out of Estacada. It's the little ranger station up there. Tons of great areas up there. I'll try to get some pics next time. It would be up 224 out of Estacada. About 15 miles or wsomething like that.

I haven't really checked that out either. I'll have to run out that way soon. While it's still nice and muddy...

i was wanting to go today but i dont have enought fuel in the tank so ill have to wait till hopefuly next weekend. hoping to finish this job in gresham tomarow then get paid (bookoo, too. 2 months worth.)
