Fog Lamp, turn signal issue?

2005 Jeep Wrangler X

My fog lights won't turn off unless;
I use my turn signal (the fog lights will go off, wether I turn the switch left or right)
I turn on the high beams
I press down on the end of the turn signal switch(lever)

After driving, I have to put on my turn signal, and then turn the Jeep off, for the fog lights to stay off

Any suggestions on what the problem might be and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Sounds to me like your multifunction switch is bad

If it is the switch then you should grab this one quick for $20:

They seem to run about $75 new:

Thanks-it does seem to be the switch. The one listed on eBay, has the same issue. I unplugged the fog lamps until I can order a new switch-wish I could repair the one I have-everything else on it works. Thanks for the replies!
