It's a Fram product.. so my first thoughts are it's of cheap design, but I haven't found anything bad on them yet..

It's a replacment for the oil drain plug that allows you to change the oil with less mess.[addsig]

it opens automatically when you attach the hose to it..

I heard it works goodm but takes about a WEEK for the oil to drain out.
