we have a scale on base, for the big tractor trailers and hazmat trucks, that is right on the way off base. i used to stop on it a lot in my other vehicles because they were autocross cars so weight was very important. i figured it would do some good to know the weight of the ol' wrangler for someone so i stopped on it yesterday after donating blood. it weighed less then i thought it weighed, for being a full frame large 6 cylinder vehicle.
3380 pounds with 3/4 of a tank, 1 gallon of water, i quart of oil, and about 10 pounds of useless junk littered through out the cabin.
the jeep is a 93 wrangler with 4.0, auto transmission, factory hardtop, full steel doors, family roll cage, tube bumpers, aluminum wheels, stock size tires and a 6 speaker sound bar. there is also no front drive shaft on the vehicle since the previous owner bent it some how.
i'll put some pics up when i get some reception on the ol' phone. building i work in is cell proof, for some reason
