Had a ride all set up with some friends. Of the two, one had a sick child and couldn't make it, the other just didn't show.
There I was waiting with nothing happening, when I saw another group of YJs across the parking lot. I went over and asked what was happening and got myself invited along on their ride to Redcone/Radical hill.
The group was an organized ride sponsored by a local 4WD merchant.
Unfortunately, it took a long time to get to the trail head. You might remember that at Platte Canyon High School, a homeless man two years ago enterred the school molesting some girls and killing Emily Keyes. He basically was a case of suicide by police. There was a memorial road trip honoring her that morning.
Redcone is always fun. Here is a video (showing the new JK) as we go down the final steep to Webster pass.
