gurgling gas tank

I've noticed that after I stop and turn off the engine, I can hear a gurgling or bubbling sound coming from the fuel tank? Is this normal or is this perhaps the result of excess backpressure coming from a partially blocked line or vent? As noted in my other entry below, I also have a problem with power loss at speed---could these be related???

yeah it sounds like you have a blockage somewhere in your lines. start by looking for kinks in your fuel lines. then, if you haven't recently, replace the inline fuel filter (takes about 2 minutes), and if that doesn't work, look to the fuel filter.[addsig]
