I've got a 89 wrangler hard top on my 85 CJ7, so I would think that any CJ7 or YJ hardtop should fit on yours, the bodys are about the same.

I also have a YJ top on my CJ. The tubs are identical, the only difference is the way the rear window shuts. On a CJ it has a twist latch, like a pick-up shell. On the YJ the tailgate holds the window shut. I don't know how a CJ top would work on the YJ. It should work with some minor tweaking. I would buy a newer top anyway, they are lighter and quieter. The stock CJ top is solid on top, the YJ top is two layers with a space between them. This insulates better, and reduces weight. Anyway I think I've said enough...good luck.
