Help! I am changing the transmission filter on my 1981 Jeep Scrambler

But it has been modified with a 1987 Cherokee straight 6, auto transmission. It seems the parts never match up with what they should be. I took out the old filter which is a Filtran Microfelt SAE PA66-GF33. This filter seems hard to find, is there a another filter that I can use in its place?

You can call your local parts store and give them the part number and ask them to cross reference it for another filter.
