How do i loosen my distributor to time

81 cj7 258 auto. I am way out of time and for the life of me, I can figure out how to loosen my distributor. Any help?

Did you find the bolt that you loosen? Been a while since I've worked on a CJ7, but I think there was a single bolt that held down a plate what held the dist in place.

Yes. Got it. The old grime was covering it up.
