How long is too long?

Alright, this may be a dumb question but i have to ask.

is there such thing as haveing your stock block heater plugged in for to long? i'm not sure cuz my neighbor pluggs his jeep in all day and night and only unpluggs it when he is driving but once back home he pluggs it back in. I plugg mine in at night and leave it till morning when i go to work and leave it unplugged untill i go to bed.

i was woundering if haveing it's plugged in all day and night could ruin anything or am i just paranoid that my jeep might blow up ( not really blow up but you understand).

any advice is appreciated :?|

From what I was told, the only thing that it hurts to leave your Block heater plugged in all day.... is your wallet..... CHA-CHING... others might have more info since I have not lived up north for more then a decade....

You're totally fine leaving it as long as you want. Even months in a row if you want haha.


It's not like it will overheat the vehicle or anything, so you are fine.
