indicator dash display dosen't work

The only indicators that work are my turn signals. Everything else like the 4wd, etc will not come on, even when I start it. I am just looking for some hints on what it could be. All I know is that all the fuses check out alright. I have a 91 yj if that helps.[addsig]

Did you do any work under the dash. Sometimes you can knock one of the plugs loose. There are 2 - plugs on each side of the cluster. They are wide about 6 pins. Mine had come loose once where 1 or 2 plugs were making contact once I reseated them all the lights work.[addsig]

Has the 4wd light ever come on since you've owned it? I didn't think the 4wd light came on during startup.

Do you know if the front axle is engaged when you shift to 4wd? Are the front tires pulling?[addsig]
