Jeep has the shakes

Last night when messing around in the snow....didnt do anything to rough. Today when I started the jeep up and got going it seemed to be running a little funny, seemed like it wanted to stall at one point. Than I got it on the highway and it shook violently when I started to get to a higher speed. Any thoughts?!?![addsig]

not sure about the engine sputtering, but I had the same highway driving issues... check for snow in the wheels! I found that it packs nicely in the wheels causing violent shakes from anywhere between 40 & 65 mph. if ice has formed, save some hair and go to a manual carwash and hose it out, I've got to do this almost every snowstorm. i've also found that offroading seems to take its toll on catalytic converters. tap yours, see if it has broken into chunks. might be plugged up now.
