Jeep Yj brake light wont work

I'm having issues locating my brake light wires in my jeep YJ 1989, the reason i'm looking for the wires is because every time I press on the brakes both of my back brake light wont turn on, but when I switch on my headlights the back lights do turn on still wont show me braking. any suggestions?

Ground should be ok if parking lights are working.
I would start with the fuse and then check the brake switch.
