Hi all,
I am in the process of stretching my YJ's wheel base and have come across a dilemma. I picked up a set of Grand Wagoner front springs to do a SOA in the front of the YJ. Will be frenching the springs into the fame to keep a lower center of gravity and pushing the shackle point forward to the front of the bumper.
My question is: These Grand Wagoner springs are 25-30 years old and will need to be rebuild with bushings, spring clamps, anti friction pats and clean them up. The springs when on the Grand appeared to be absolutely flat. Should I use them as they are, rebuild them or purchase a new set of springs either new Grand Wagoner's or a set of RE (reverse eye) 1.5" YJ springs?
Thanks,
Bacon
