:D my mopar 360/727 swap is purring like a bear (lol open manifolds ) everything is bolted up and just waiting for me to fab a set of downpipes for the exhaust. then a pre-road bolt check and snip the last few leftover wires that are hanging around and were back in the saddle . had some leaks in the oil sender line from a scuffed fitting ( one of the 5 times the motor went in an out for fitments) iol pressure is 40 at idle all though i havn't let it run long enough to get hot yet . the t-case and transmission gaskets are all dry and the gas gauge works so what more can i ask ! took out the column shifter and mounted a nicer looking tach and mounted a cherokee console and cable shifter that looks sooooo much better ! took some dremmel work to remove the t-case lever pocket for the cherokee and keep my 87 t-case shifter boot and all. i'm going to use the little change dent for my off road lite switch panel. i picked up a trio set of gauges at a garage sale for $5,00 and cut out the top tray above the shifter to mount the chrome plate. I hate chrome but there it is anyway. i hope to have the pics posted soon as i get enough time to sort them . I'll miss my "done " date by a week or two , but i was close to a 4th of july goal ! If i could just buy the 79 dodge crossover that came on the truck it would be a snap , but i guess i'm going pc by pc and welding it up.

only reved in the driveway so far as the neighbors LOVE me already with all the metal fabbing i do out in the driveway ! seems to have plenty of room to "flex " though. the only driving i've done is in and out of the garage ! I'll be cleaning up the wires and stuff after i get done with work sat, and begin to shop an exhaust system next week. Many thanks to you two for the support !! the Allpar site was full of very good info as i have never been anything but a ford or jeep fan . I just wanted the baby back on the road but i am happy so far with the project. when i add the receipts up it will be 75% elbow grease and 25% cash so i can live with that too !!
update..........8:30 mon gets her pipes bent and should be on road by the weekend ! less than 2 weeks past projected finish date !8)
