Trying to drill the broken bolt out of the back seat mount on my TJ. Using a cobalt drill bit. Won't do anything. Any suggestions? Sure do need the help!

Weld a nut to it if you can, the heat will help break the bolt loose.

Are you starting with a very small drill bit and working your way to larger ones? Doing this, make sure the small bit you start with is dead center on the bolt you are drilling. Go up a size or two at a time.

Try using drill bits for drilling into metal. You can still use regular ones, but if your not careful they'll heat up and snap on you. Buying ones made for metal make the job a little easier. Start small, work your way up to the bolt size. Patience is key. Twice now I've had to drill the bolt out of my wheel because I stripped a lug nut. That was 3 hours per tire lol.
