Need information what gear will work best

I have a 2004 TJ with a 4 inch Rough Country lift kit plus 33 inch tire 285 /75 /16 Dick Cepek tires. Has an automatic Transmition .It has a 3.73 gear .I am thinking to change the gears to 4.56 or 4.88 if anyone has made this change which gear would be best

I have 4.88 gears in my jeep, I had a overdrive and loved the 4.88,s. Now my overdrive went out and im driving the jeep with no overdrive and absolutely HATE the 4.88,s. Its just too low for on road driving in my opinion. You have Overdrive so you may really like them, when my OD was working I loved em.

You can do a side x side comaprison of 2 different ratios to determine the best one for your rig.

Most people quickly figure out that 33's with an auto transmission gets back to the stock powerband by using 4.56 rears.
