That's cool. I had a 5" on my XJ and I loved it

Re: New lift

I hope there coil springs are better than there leaf springs. When i contacted them about what they could do about there springs loosing there arch they preety much told me to f#$% off. There was nothing they would do for me.

Ya the guy I ordered them through said he deals with them alot and has never really herd a complaint

Should I weld the new brackets that hold the arms to the frame ? It's got 5 bolts on each side but welding would eliminate any chance of those bolts failing to stay tight. Suggestions ?

Personally I would head over to a local auto body shop and for the 25$ or so they charge have them weld the brackets to the frame. Mine came loose about after a year or so due to all the flexing.

Re: New lift

not sure about rough country, but rubicon express long arm requires welding to the frame and it also bolts on.

Re: New lift

Would you mind posting up some final install photos? I'm looking at their long arm upgrade kit.

I'd be interested in how you route your exhaust, and if you have to buy a new muffler.

Good luck with it. On my buddys XJ version the welds broke on the cross member and caved in and they told us it was due to abuse. This happened on the first trip out running 33s on an easy trail. Plan on replacing the bushings often as well.
