New -- Bigger Tires for my 95 ZJ

I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. She needs some new tires and I was wanting to maybe go a little bigger but don't want to run in to problems. They are 15" Rims and it looks like there is a lot of room between the tire and the wheel well. What size\brand tire would work for me?

Thanks![addsig]

hi there "jpascone!"

I'm assuming your "ZJ" is standing on the stock suspension. If this is the case

a set of 30's will do just fine, especially if you want some articulation room.

You might get away with 31's, but you'll hear some fender rub.

As far as what kind of tire.....all depends on what type of terrain you'll be driving on.

Daily driver, on the road through the week- mild off roading on the weekend, I'd go

with a set of "BF GOODRICH-ALL TERRAINS."

Not a whole lot of road use, and aggresive off roading???--I found that the

"SUPER SWAMPER TSL RADIALS" ARE GREAT! ( and look pretty bad ass too!)

keep on jeepn' on!!!

yeah, regardless of how much visual room there is in your wheelwells, you will need a lift to fit anything bigger that 30's on a stock suspension (as mentioned above), because the suspension will flex.[addsig]
