Getting ready to buy a Jeep for my wife for Christmas2020. It is going to be a used build. I have no clue what I am looking for, but I am starting a 5 month journey. Hopefully we finish in time!

I'd look hard for a Rubicon. It's hard to build a lesser model to duplicate the capability of the factory Rubicon.

The 4 door models are nice if you might have passengers. Otherwise, the 2 door models are fine.

I am definitely looking for a Rubicon. Just started searching. No idea which years and engines are best and easiest. Trying to stay within budget of less than 10k. It is a back and forth to work vehicle.
