newbie with a 1991 wrangler islander 4.0 with automatic

:???: I am having problems since grandchild deep six in mud. Replaced the starter and motor cranks, does not run. I have tryed grounds, loose connetions and etc. ant ideas.

Check the ASD circuit for a bad relay or fuse. AutoShutdown. Check all the fuses under the hood in the PDC.

Try a spoonful of gas in the throttlebody. If it doesn't try to start, then either you have no spark or the motor is messed up inside.
