NP241 install on tj with Rubicon Express lift

I have a 97 jeep tj with a 5.5" rubicon exprees lift. This weekend I tryed to intall an NV241 from a 2003 Rubicon and I am having some trouble getting it to fit. Can any one help?

There are 3 issues I am having.
1) What transmition mount do I use?
2) do I need a 1" body lift to fit the T-Case between the skid plate and the body?
3) I need to find a front output yoke it fit my smaller "u" joints.

Yes you need a 1 inch body lift. You have the long arm kit right?

I'm guessing you use the transmission mount from a Rubi. The front yokes between the 231 and 241OR may be interchangeable, I've got a spare front CV output yoke if you need one.

Yes I do have the long arm kit with the skid plate. I think I found what I need for the output shafts from Tom Woods drive shafts. Any tips on doing the body lift?

Install one side at a time, leaving the other side's bolts in but loose.

I've done this job with that lift and that Tcase. You have to beat the inside of the tunnel to get the clearance. I used a 5lb. sand hammer, worked great. I think you should read this install stuff. Its a 241OR Roc-Trac. I have the install manual from JB conversions if you get into trouble.

Thanks for the info. I ordered a 1" body lift to get the extra clearance. I just have two more questions.
What trany mount did you use and what did you do for the rear output shaft?

Stock transmission mount. Get the yoke from John @ JB conversions, he will know what you need.
