Hey there fellow jeepers!! I am currently in the market for a new intake. I am already running a weber 38/38 dges redline carb on a stock intake of my 258 (prob not the best idea). I am not going to be able to buy a new carb. So I need an intake that will work well with my current weber. Has anyone had any experience with either?

one of them comes in a dual plane version. get that one. i have an offenhauser i am going to put on, probably next week

yes, they sell it at oriellys or where ever. mine is probably going to go on with a two barrel (unless i find a good price on a four barrel)

you have to put the normal 4- adapter and then the large 2 to small 2 adapter on top of the other one

What is the advantage of having a duel plan intake?

Dual plane intakes are designed more for low to mid range power, right where the 258 likes to be at. Open plenums are more for top end.

Hahaha no need for high end here! Buck Hour is a low speed thrill ride!! Thanks again guys! It's been a while since I've been on here. Glad to be back
