Whats everyone's take on this? I hear some 4.0's not making it passed 30k without major engine work due to this and others its seems to not even affect at all. Mine has 87k and I show no signs of any problems with it but, I have been told to pull and inspect but, the only problem I see is if it is indeed bad or going bad without replacing the cam and lifters along with the new OPDA to me it seems kinda stupid and well only makes a problem down the road.

Somewhere in the first 16 pages or so they describe how you could check the engine build date and the drive gear numbers to know if you are affected.

its the oil pump drive assembly. If you have a distributor you don't have one....

no those are acronymns, not short hand. My grandmother was a judicial stenographer, she knows short hand and it is a completely different language.
