Parts for locker!

Well, I scrapped 3100 lbs of jeep part's and my '66 jeep truck for $672. I now have a detroit locker in my dana 44 rear with 4.09 gears. I haven't got it back in the jeep yet, I'm really worried about how it's going to drive. I've had a lock rite before and it was ok on the street. I talked to a guy this past weekend that has drove a few jeeps with detroit's and he said that a standard was tricky to drive but an auto was a lot better. I've got drill this weekend so I won't be able to get it all back together, but I'll have done by next week. Also, I had the front spider gear's welded, that'll be different I'm sure. The next thing I have to do is rotate the pinion on a dana 44 front housing. I live close to knoxeville Tn. does anyone know where I can get this done? I've found a place is S. Carolina that's about 7 hours away but I would like to find someone closer to home.

Hudlow axle in Rossville GA, it's about 20 minutes outside Chattanooga. He does excellent work on any and all axles. He has a website so you can google him. He's done drive shafts for me but set up rocks and splined shafts for other I know. He also turned the knuckles on a scout 44 for my buddies CJ.
