Powers steering.

I have a 91 yj with four banger. It currently

Has manual steering which sucks on trail rides. Will a steering box from a Cherokee work on yj ? If so what years to look for ?

Not positive, but I would think they are the same. you will need the pump and lines. A cj box will fit it for sure. My brother had a yj and I had a older cj, the boxes were the same. Others will chime in soon that may know for sure.

My buddy has a 92 Cherokee that he bought for parts and it has box and brackets on it so I guess I can just try it and see

some boxes have 3 mounting holes and some have four. Your frame should have the four holes but you can use a box with only 3, the holes still line up the same, the 4 hole box is considered stronger.

How big are your tires?
you may want to add a support bracket.

Just 32x11.50. Mostly trail riding. It gets a little tiring. I already a cj5 with 40's on it. Plan on staying a little more practical with this one

Was fun but wasn't very highway friendly
