Well, I got the Jeep this weekend!! Thanks everyone for answering my questions about swapping drivers and passengers side seat. Swapping them worked good enough to drive the Jeep 350 miles home. I just ordered some new Mastercraft Rubicon seats
My question is about the quadra-trac transfer case. How does this t/c work? It is in full time 4wd in its "normal mode", but if you get stuck, you can switch it into "emergency mode". Is this the similar to locking diffs or what exactly does this do?
There are three rubber tubes coming out from the back of the glove box where the knob to engage the quadra-trac "emergency mode" is. These three tubes are cut and are just hanging there. Do these tubes hook up directly to the t/c or where do they go? The previous owner took off the front drive shaft. I'm wondering if he did this because the t/c was stuck in emergency mode and he never bothered to fix it. [addsig]
