Question about Fiberglass Tub and Hard Doors

'77 CJ7....Does anyone know if a strike latch for hard doors will mount on a fiberglass tub? It doesn't seem like there's enough room to mount a latch but I could be wrong. Just curious if anyone has seen this done. Thanks.

My son bought a "79CJ7 with hard to & doors. The striker was mounted on the body...he switched to a soft-top & I don't remember the exact location of the striker or how it was mounted,but it worked fine.

I had a CJ with a glass tub and I used YJ hard half doors with it. the door pin assembly from a YJ fit.

Ooops...forgot to mention that. Yes it had a glass tub,the guy he bought it from said it was from 4wd hdwr.
