When regearing do you have to do the front and back at the same time? Or can you do the back and then the front two weeks later?

If you plan on having a couple weeks between the installs just don't use 4wd. I'd pull the front drive shaft just to be safe(never know what might happen:twisted Good luck with the installs!

what happens when ur front drive line gets ripped out haha. looks like i will have to regear also cause looks like i have a dana 44 in the rear and a 30 on the front.

Haha I just want bigger tires. But don't have the money to throw down both ends at the same time. I have a friend who said he would install for me for free so I just have to buy the parts. But still can't afford all the parts at once

Like he said you can do it but don't use 4WD and it's safest if you pull your front driveshaft out and reinstall it when you get new gears cause you never know what can happen!

Check around a lot of places offer package deals so you get front and rear and save about 50 to 100 bucks. Make sure your friend knows how to set up gears because if they aren't right you get to buy another set.

I have 3.07s in my TJ which makes 5th gear pretty much unuseable; it was worse when I had the 31s on there; now that I have "regressed" to 235s again it isn't "as" bad; I have a set of new 3.73s here for the rear but need the carrier for 3.55+, as well as the R&P and carrier for the front. I run in 4th gear quite a bit.
