Rusty Frame

Have you been happy with the POR 15? How long has it lasted? Do you just use the product on the link or do you do all 4 steps?

Not afraid to spend the money if it will work for years to come.

i used por-15 on the frame of my jeep, love it it has even stood up to brake fluid,
the process i used was pressure washed the frame there is an acid wash that is recommended with the por 15 i cant remember the name of it at the moment but i used it and its been on for about 3 months now and still looks inpenetrable
i agree with terry great product for the money, 2 quarts did all of the frame, fire wall and cross member, 1 coat with plenty to spare

I haven't used these products yet but am an overall fan of Eastwood's stuff. The list is too long to remember of everything I have used from them but I've never been disappointed with the results. They worked as advertised as long as the full procedure is followed. They have been in business for 33 years...that's gotta say something about their products. Just remember, you can't shortcut the process, have it fail then blame the manufacture.

What I like about your dilemma is that Eastwood sells both the POR-15 products and their own. Obviously they are not afraid of the competition.

If you decide to go the Eastwood route, give us a write-up and let us know you opinions. This is something not too far off in my rig's future.

Good luck with the project.
