Safari snorkel on a YJ.

I just bought an ARB Safari Snorkel for my 93 YJ. I'm going to install it this weekend. The manual calls for an 86 mm or 3 3/8 inch hole saw to cut through the fender for the hose to the airbox. I'm having a really hard time finding a 3 3/8 inch hole saw, they're not very common and have to be special ordered. Most hole saws increase in size every 1/2 inch. My question is...will a 3 1/2 inch hole saw work?...the hole will only be 3 mm larger than called for. Does the the hose have to fit tight into the hole?, will it rattle around?, it warns of the hole being close to the computer...will it cut into the computer? I hope someone out there can answer these questions. Thanks.[addsig]

If I remember correctly it's not all that close to the computer, you can open your hood to check if you have the clearance, I've seen hole saws in that size at Home Depot so I know they're out there.. maybe if you have a Sears by you they might have it in stock or they can order it.. also alot of local hardware stores can order a specific tool if you need it.

If you really can't get it you're better off making the hole larger if you can and use some rubber to fill the gap.[addsig]

Just finished the install...it took about 3 hours but could be done a lot faster if I wasn't drinking beer and BSing with my friends. It wasn't too difficult. The 3 1/2 inch holesaw worked just fine. The washer fluid tank had to be moved...the kit includes a bracket to relocate it beside the battery. When you move the tank, you have to extend the wireing harness for the washer fluid pumps which are located on the bottom of the tank, the kit includes this wireing harness. Everything else was easy...there is a template to mark where the mounting holes and air intake hole get drilled. [addsig]
