So does anyone no about reversing the shackle with a spring under jeep. Ya it works great with a spring over setup but what about the spring under guys. What about the bolt on ones. Looks good but just not enough info on it.

If you do it, don't get a bolt on. It puts your rear shackle hanger below the frame, which puts the bottom of the shackle and the leaf spring too close to the ground. It also gives WAY too much caster, which will make steering more difficult and wear out steering components.

The CORRECT way to mount the rear shackle is with a sleeve through the frame, similar to how the shackles are mounted to the frame for the rear axle.

A SRS will give a little smoother ride, but it can unload the front tires when you hit an obstacle, decreasing traction. Only a factor if you wheel

I DON'T RUN ONE BUT IF I DID IT WOULD BE DUE TO THE FACT THAT YOUR SPRINGS HIT LESS ROCKS WITH IT... STOPS BUMPSTEER... U GET 1.5 -2" OF LIFT....APROACH ANGLES ARE BETTER....

U GET THE EXTRA LIFT SO YOUR CASTER WILL STAY THE SAME...BUT LIKE I SAID I DON'T RUN ONE.......I LIKE THE LOOK AND DROP FLEX OF REVOLVER SHACLES.... BUT IF I DID I WOULD PUT MY REVOLVERS ON THE REVERSAL.... SWEET

the only disadvantage of this is that you lose control in braking.... your front end is more easily able to dive toward the ground because the new pivot points allow the frame to move forward when the axle momentum is decreased. all in all, not a bad modification.[addsig]
