Soft top question on 2007 JK 4dr

Ey everyone, I just had some friends help me swap my hard top for the full soft top. Was wondering, since I did it for the first time, can i pull the soft top completely back like on the older Jeeps and leave it attached so I can put it back up? I am asking because of the short supports that attach to the roll bar since it doesn't look like they have enough leeway to let it happen. I mean i have the safari top as well but the wife wants me to keep the full soft top attached incase we take the baby in the Jeep to block the sun or rain if it starts when we are out.

Let me know. Thanks!

For the OE top, there is no other choice. The top is connected to the hardware. You do have to remove the windows to take it down.

Like Vin said but you can leave the rear window in and rolled up for short periods of time like a week or so. I did it and had no problems but you must take out the side windows. I rolled them up and put them under my back seat.

Thanks! I actually took out the three windows and pulled it back for a drive with the family. I was wondering if I can leave it attached like that so in the event of rain, I can just "quickly" pull it up and secure it to not soak the interior or myself.

I bought some hangars from Home Depot, since I have those Guerrilla Shelves in my garage with wire mesh selving so i can just wrap up the top with that and then use the caribiners to hold it to the rack and then it's out of the way! Not bad for $6.95 each.
