spedo and voltage gauges screwy

my 96 grand cherokee limited is having some electrical issues. While driving the speedo jumps up all over the place, the voltage gauge drops completely, and looses considerable power. If i turn of jeep and start again it magically goes away for a bit. Also i can here static in stereo speakers, but when I apply the brakes static goes away. Dont know if it matters but it only makes static noise when useing sat. radio that is plugged into aux.

have fixed this problem. Fixed and checked all grounds, replaced battery, since it was still on warranty, and cleaned and tightened all electrical connections on starter, and alternator. Problem has gone away. I believe it was bad cells within battery.
