Well I am newbie here and this question will show ya'll that, but I always wanted a jeep for off roadin and now that I did all my adult responsibilities....build house, braces on the kids, ya know all that boring S$@t, I was fianally able to pick up a 79 cj.
How can i identify what type of axels this thing has in it as far as i know its stock. I wanna replace the ball joints and a not so close friend has a new set of Spicer ball joints he says they fit dana 30, or dana 40 jeep, ford, or chevy part# 706116.
I know i dont have dana 44, but was wondering if its got the dana 30, and what it should have came from the factory with.
