Hi, new here. I have heard that leaf springs can be taken froim older Dakotas, S-10s and even older Dodge vans. Are there any other vehicles that I can use parts from. The thought of spending hours measuring at the salvage yard doesn't thrill me. I am looking at building a set with 1 or 2 overloads for towing as well. Not really looking for lift, but wouldn't want to go over 3".
Also, Are there any other front springs that can be used? I have read that Late 70's F-150 coils can be used, as well as ZJ fronts.
Don't want to pay much for springs, as I won't be keeping them. Plan on lifting later down the road.
