I was driving down the highway today and my CJ started puttering and it felt like it was going to stall. I pulled over and as I stopped the jeep did stall and then backfired. It started right up and I continued on and it then happened multiple times, both at high speeds (50) and low speeds (25). I have no mechanical brains at all. Any ideas...I realize this is a brief description, but has anyone else experience this. I just got the jeep so i dont know to much about it. It has a V8, 3 speed manuel, 4 barrell holley, elderbrock intake. it looks to have new igition. it just happened today, first on the H1 doing about 55. Then again this afternoon around 7 times. Sometimes it backfired. But it stalled out after each time. It even stalled out after coasting down a hill in neutral.
