Steering Question

I think my jeep is upset with me leaving it in NY for 4 months before bringing it to FL. Lots of new issues. Here is the latest. When I have to make a real sharp turn (like into a parking spot) the jeep shake and it makes a rubbing sound. Its not the tires. I didnt see any rubbing and I never had this problem before. Where should I start?

Not to underestimate your abilities, but I always like to start with the basics, how much power steering fluid do you have? Perhaps a small leak has emptied the pump...

Failing that, are you SURE it's not rubbing? When mine went out of alignment, the very edges of the tires were rubbing the control arms, took me forever to diagnose till I finally had my brother hold it at full left lock in a parking lot, and I reached in there and felt it hitting...

Always a good idea to throw the most obvious check out there....but yeah I did check the fluid level and we are good.

I am not 100% sure on the tires...more like 75%. I will double check that one.
Thanks

are you sure you have it in 2WD? the shaking could be the u-joints on the front axle.

Its the quadra-trac full time 4wd system.
