sway bar install

I'm installing an oem swaybar on my cj5 and I know that there is a bracket that wields to the leaf springs. Im not sure if this is it or not, can somebody confirm or deny this? heres the link that I'm looking at Plate, Rear Spring To Axle, Driver's Side 5363439 by the Jeep Specialists | Morris 4x4 Center

thats it. it doesnt weld to anything though the ubolts go into it to hold the springs to the axle housing and the swaybar bolts to the stud on the side.

I beleive that's a shock mount on the picture like the #10 and 20 on this link. Suspension Parts for Jeep CJ5, CJ7 & CJ8 Scrambler at Morris 4x4. I don't see the sway bar mount though.

i think your right. its a cj on my yj thats where the swaybar mounted. my mistake only one cup of coffee so far.

You would need to mod it if you go with a TJ setup. I think if i remember correctly, the mounting on the axle is different from a CJ setup.

The TJ swaybar link is mounted on a bracket that's above the axle tube and welded with the axle assembly. The CJ is a stud similar to the shock mount that is part of the leaf pack bottom retaining plate that sits on the lower end of the axle tube. The diameter of the holes between the CJ and TJ are also different, the CJ's has a larger hole and their lenght are also different. CJ's are longer.
