Heres my strange problem.
I bought a 93' yj. It was pretty rough around the edges, and in the middle also.
First thing I did was run codes when I got it. It was the usual list of 24, 25, 12 and 55.
No problem. So I fixed them, and the trouble codes never came back.
When I changed to a header, I noticed the O2 sensor was still in the manifold, but wires were cut.
So, not wanting loose wires hanging around, I found them (the connector was cut off and wires tucked into harness) and soldered on a new connector and installed a new O2.
But then the mystery hit me. Why did I not have an O2 code in the first place? And I still dont to this day.
