If any of you have relocated your side mirrors so you can legally have your doors off did you have a problem w/ the bolt that holds the mirror to the stock bracket stripping. Both of mine have stripped and i dont want to pay $40.00 a piece to buy some new ones. Just wanted to see how you got yalls off if yall have done this.

You don't have to have outside mirrors to be legal, unless it is a restriction placed on your driver's license. That's how it is in IL anyway.[addsig]

In NY I think we have to have mirrors. I ran into the same problem with the bolts stripping so I took it down to the EVIL dealership and I guess they were a little less EVIL that day cause they took them off for me for free.[addsig]

One more thing...get some better bolts before you place them back in. Its easier the next time because you wont tighten them as hard as the factory did[addsig]
