track bar

i just bought a rough country adj. track bar and was wondering if ne of u have ever installed one it includes a relocation bracket that u drill 2 holes in the frame to mount it. The kit came with instructions but they r so vegue and i dont know "How long the adjustment" should b? i have a 97 tj with a 4" lift. im guessing im making this harder than it is. a few pointers from some of u could help. thanks Jeep Accessories - Adjustable Track Bar

let the jeep sit and hang some washers on string off the body and use those to center your axle. then you can adjust your track bar to fit.

i had to do the track bar for my cherokee. its easier to do then to explain.

That'd b an awesome idea I was going to use a level and mark lines on the axle. I like ur idea better.

Hey got the new track bar all mounted up no more shake on the highway roles down the street better now too. Thanks for the washer trick superj that was way easier than I had expected. Ill post some pics soon.
