Type of exhaust

I am doing a 350 conversion and have been trying to find information on wether to do a fenderwell header or inframe. If I do the fenderwell I plan on side pipes. The inframe would go into Flowmaster 44's and out infront of the rear wheels. If anyone has in put as to any problems with either choice or a positive comment please let me know.

i think side pipes would look bad a** but i also love the sound of a flowmaster.

my other ride gmc 1500 has a 350 with dual pipes, with 2, 3 chamber flowmasters the sound at idle is fairly quiet, but you can tell when you nail it
also exhaust pipes in front of chrome wheels tends to get them stained

if you are in texas, side pipes are illegal unless they were an option from the factory.

i wanted them on my 65 mustang but didn't want the hassle of trying to "get" an inspection sticker every year from then on

in-frame headers, leave the side pipes to the vettes.

two exhuast trends I seriously dislike... side pipes and exhaust stacks on anything other than a Kenworth or Mack :(

My sliders take a beating on the trail now and then, but they are made for it. If I had side exhaust, that would get a similar beating, and that beating would be rough on the exhaust. For that reason, I'd go in-frame if I were doing it.
