Re: RE: round headlights

Well, the new year didn't start well for me. The very first ride of the day and of the year and fell victim to...............................

You tell me. Look close and you'll be able to tell. This is the first time ever in my recently turned 31 years!

I am so unhappy right about now and scrambling to see how I can get this fixed without spending a zillion dollars.

I guess I am lucky we didn't lose control or wreck the whole Jeep.

i've ruined my character

wow, you still have mosquitos in your area? those things are always leaving scars on whatever i may be driving...

well.. sorry to see that.. you should probably be able to straighten it out for the most part... i'd say to straighten it out and leave it... that stuff DOES look impressive to other jeepers....

allow me to be the first to say "ouch" and "congradulations on your first major scar"

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Step into the Wayback Machine with me...

i was thinking the same thing tug! flatfender the bent one and if you like do the other, if you dont then just buy a new fender like youd have to do anyway. sorry to hear about the accident though, whatd you hit?

Wow! and Bummer!

Looks like hair or fur stuck to your Jeep.

A deer strike?

Regards,

Gadget

looks like a deer. If so I don't believe they can raise your insurance.

Sometimes you gotta say ITS JUST A CAR.

aww lady :( .
i'm glad to read that you were not hurt.
that's a terrible way to start out the new year (and a new age) but maybe since you got this incident out of the way now, the rest of 2005 will go smoothly  :? ?

happy new year and birthday to you by the way :!:

if you can't get it fixed right away, you can just pretend you took it out on a tree while wheeling...
tough little jeep!

Thanks for the tips everyone! I have called the insurance company and found out I don't need an accident report (everyone said I did) and that comprehensive insurance will cover this mess.

IF it was an older jeep and I had funds, I'd do flat fenders. I love them. Being that the jeep is just over a year old and all that jazz, I'll let the insurance fix it.

Big Mosquito It wasn't, small furry animal it was. Gadget gets the prize!! I've attached a picture of the offender. I think you could call this a "moving violation".

I do thank god we didn't wreck or lose control totally and for that I have a Jeep and not a small car.

I'm sure glad you all are okay. Your jeep can be fixed, we can't fix a Lady.

Poor Bambi too.

RE: Kazza Lite a pay site???

i was thinkin deer too.... that little sumbetch would be in my freezer if i were you

RE: Re: RE: so if i add..

ROFL You all kill me! Now how would I get that thing in my freezer? I sure don't know a thing about killing deer (except how to hit them with a jeep) and I really don't want to know how to clean them. So, no he's still a laying in that field he got drug into last night.

BUT- I was going to call my family that hunts and ask them if they wanted it, but he was so small I didn't know if they'd even want to do the work. Also, I had always heard that the impact of a crash taints the deer meat because of organs bursting? Heck I don't know.

Short Answer is, Nope. lol

M715 Axles

You could have invited the whole family over for a big nice dinner...and about halfway through you could have mentioned it was your new recipe for roadkill stew.

Mmm... dinner...

At least the damage isn't too horrible... Cover it with a nice light bar or something, it'll be fine :)

Glad you're not hurt.

RE: I installed my grille guard!

Just get some Poison Spyder Tube fenders.

RE: front locker installed

It's been sitting too long in this warm weather we've had, but there would've been plenty of good meat on her. Oh, well.

That wouldv'e been alot less painless had it been trail damage, but don't fret - it's just a fender and very fixable. It couldv'e been alot worse, right?

Sorry that happened - I know you love animals (maybe not so much that one after what it did to your Jeep though)

yummm... small deer are the best.. not a lot of meat.. but its the best meat... someone i know hit a deer this year and i went and took advantage of that

well, at least insurance will cover it this way though..... you'd have a hard time explaining to your insurance company why it was completely necessary for you to climb over rocks only to smash your fender in with one... at least i would have.
