XJ Coil Spring Spacer Question

Does anyone know if the stock coil spring spacer actually adds to the ride height and if so how much? I have a 2000 XJ with an OME 2-1/2" lift and 1" greaseable rear shackles. I would like to level off the vehicle with coil spring spacers but I'm not sure if I should leave the stock ones in place or go with thicker spacers and remove the stock ones.

Sorry not sure about this one, but are youlooking for just 1" spacers for the front? I wouls assume that they simply get added to what you already got, but I am not overly farmiliar with the XJ front end. Are you talking about th espring isolator on the front, or do they in fact have factory spacers?

most spacers are designed to be stackasble, so if you need to lift an inch, add 1" spacers to what you already have...

I found out that the stock isolators are 1/2" thick, so I went ahead and ordered the 1-3/4" spacer. This should level things off nicely, as it sits now the rear end is an inch higher. The front end will sit 1/4" higher but with the weight of the engine and the coil springs settling, it should work out just fine.

The stock coil spring isolators are .75" thick and stackable with each other and the 1.75" spacers.

The XJ has smaller rear wheelwell openings than the front, so it looks like it's squatting in the rear even when sitting level. I'd error on having the rear a little higher than the front.

I installed the 1-3/4" coil spring spacers tonight. It levelled things out nicely. I broke the swaybar link on the drivers side so now I have an excuse to put in JKS Quicker discos. Thanks to all who posted.
